Who We Are
The Canadian Turkish Friendship Community (CTFC) is a non-profit organization established in 2004 with a vision to build stronger communities through education, cultural exchange, and meaningful connections. Based in Canada, we serve as a bridge between Turkish and Canadian cultures while welcoming people from all backgrounds who share our values of respect and cooperation. Through educational programs, outreach initiatives, and cultural celebrations, we strive to create spaces where understanding, friendship, and shared purpose can grow.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help shape thoughtful and capable individuals through the power of education. We focus on providing high school students with strong academic programs and meaningful guidance, while also supporting university students with seminars that prepare them for global citizenship. At the same time, we promote intercultural understanding and community connections through inclusive education, leadership opportunities, and cultural programs. By creating a welcoming environment, we aim to ensure that everyone has the chance to learn, grow, and contribute to the greater good.

Our Journey
Founded in 2004 by dedicated volunteers, CTFC began as a grassroots effort to build connection between Turkish Canadians and the wider community. Over the years, it has grown into a thriving organization, reaching thousands through educational programs and cultural initiatives. Guided by our commitment to learning, service, and mutual understanding, we continue to strengthen community ties with the support of our members and donors.
Our Impact
Since 2004, CTFC has hosted hundreds of seminars, workshops, and cultural events that have brought lasting benefits to students, families, and the wider community.
